Pete Denahy
Pete Denahy is well known to Australian Bluegrass enthusiasts and musicians for jamming with the fiddle, singing country songs and outrageous comedy. He knew he wanted to be a country singer when at 13 years old he saw Slim Dusty in concert for the first time. Twelve years later he was in Slim’s band.
Rain of Animals
Rain Of Animals is the euphonious collaboration between Pepita Emmerichs (Oh Pep!) and Theodore Barnard (Wire & Wool) and their love of all things mandolin, fiddle, guitar, harmony vocals, bluegrass, oldtime, swing, tunes, and songs. Their sound is both new and old, unique in its instrumental wizardry and musical integrity all at once.
Lonesome Still
Hailing from the hills east of Melbourne, Lonesome Still deliver an eclectic mix of old-time country, Americana, bluegrass and American folk songs. From the 50’s to present day they cover it all. Leonie Reading and Richard Atkinson provide vocals, guitar, and mandolin, and guest artists Mark Pottenger and Bruce Packard (mandolin & bass) are featured. Look forward to some sweet harmonies and well-chosen songs from Lonesome Still.
